After passing the small Lbour pass, we descend to the Aït Mizane valley to go up to the Tacht pass via a small mule trail in the heart of a forest of holm oaks. At the pass, the view extends over the entire Azaden valley. The color contrasts are surprising… Night in bivouac in Tizi Oussem.
We go back up among the juniper trees and pass by the sheepfolds of Tamsoult. We cross a series of villages hanging on the northern slope of the mountain. Every bit of land is cultivated. Via the Ighoulidem waterfalls we arrive at the Tazaghart refuge where we spend the night, we can also bivouac a little further down.
Day walk to reach the Toubkal base camp. We climb to 3550 m to enjoy a superb view of the entire massif then descend to the Toubkal refuge near which we bivouac.

From the summit, we dominate a large part of the Atlas, the plain and the desert can be seen on the horizon. This summit offers us a breathtaking view of the Siroua massif and the Imlil valley.
