Tour Plan

On your arrival at Marrakech airport, you will be picked up by our team and taken to the hotel.
Transfer by minibus to the Aït Bougmez valley via Azilal and the Aït Abasse valley. We will have lunch en route or in the valley depending on our arrival time. Meeting with our team of mule drivers and start of the hike via Assif Arous. We go up the valley then the Arous gorges to arrive at the Ikkis plateau.
We follow the path on the left bank of the Ikkis. Once on the ridge, we have a remarkable view of the vast northern slope of M’Goun. We set up our bivouac on the beautiful short lawns of the Tarkeddit plateau. It is a superb grassy plateau facing part of the M’Goun range. A river winds through the middle and herds in season quietly graze on the abundant green grass.
A long stage of 8 hours of walking to reach the summit of M’goun at 4068m. From the top there is a panoramic view of the central High Atlas range, the Dades valley, Jebel Saghro and the Saharan expanses, then a beautiful descent on the southern slope of the Atlas leads us to our bivouac.
We are on the southern slope of the Atlas, where nomads come with their herds (goats, sheep, camels). The descent of the Tichki Valley to the village of Ameskar, passing through the small villages built in adobe.
A quiet day descending through an oleander valley (plan to cross the gorges with sandals), then crossing the village of Amjgag with its beautiful kasbahs. Lunch will be prepared by our cook at the edge of the river near El Hot village. After 2.5 hours of walking in the middle of rose bush fields, we reach the village of Boutaghrar. End of our hike in M’goun.
We leave Boutaghrar early in the morning to reach the red city passing by by Ouarzazate. Lunch en route then check-in at the hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy the charms of the red city. Night at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport and assistance until boarding. Alternatively, continue your stay in Marrakech.
