Tour Plan

On your arrival at Marrakech airport, you will be picked up by our team and taken to the hotel.
Transfer by minibus to the Aït Bougmez valley via Azilal and the Aït Abasse valley. We will have lunch en route or in the valley depending on our arrival time.
Today we are walking the Aguerd Ouzrou discovery trail, which allows us to better understand everything we have seen in recent days: life in the fields, the earthen constructions of the villages, the Koranic school... and even dinosaur tracks! The entire history of the valley is recorded there... On the way back and for those who wish, we go up to the attic of Sidi Moussa, where our accompanying guide will tell us the legends that inhabit the valley. From this promontory, we have a very beautiful view of the entire valley.
We are heading towards M’Goun. We always follow the happy valley with its crops, villages surrounded by apple trees, walnut trees, its fortified houses and its collective granaries to arrive at the more steep Aross valley. (4 hours of walking + 2 hours possible after noon) Bivouac at 2300m
We climb into a wild high mountain landscape, before crossing the Aghouri pass, then descend to the Tarkeddit plateau. At the passage of pass, we have a magnificent view of the entire M’Goun range and the Tarkeddit plateau below where many people walk peacefully herds of goats and sheep.
We climb the long ridge of M’Goun to the summit: very beautiful view on the surrounding peaks, the Jebel Sarho and the Saharan expanses. We let's descend into the great cirque of Oumssoud, source of the M'Goun assif, to reach the bottom of Oulilimt at the end of the day. Bivouac.
The landscape is changing. Fairy chimneys stand along the wadi, juniper trees scent our route. Camp at the entrance to the M’Goun valley near the springs.
This day is limited to the descent of the Ouzighimt valley; a wonderful valley whose population, especially the women, are always in full activity: working in the fields, collecting wood for the fire... our walk will be all along the river, which links several villages. Lunch will be at the edge of the wadi in Taghraft. Then we continue our crossing towards the village Imi N’Irkt.
A stage of several passages in the water. at a time when the gorges are narrow, we always stay in the water, often cold and refreshing in summer. A break for hot tea and lunch near the Ifasfas spring. The camp will be in the Tighanimine village.
This stage begins with a walk in the heart of crops, fruit trees: fig trees, walnut trees, apple trees under a good sun which makes the climate much warmer than the regions previously seen. Arrive in Bourghrar where our trek ends.
We leave Boutaghrar early in the morning to reach the red city passing by by Ouarzazate. Lunch en route then check-in at the hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy the charms of the red city. Night at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport and assistance until boarding. Alternatively, continue your stay in Marrakech.
