Ait Ben Haddou & Ouarzazate Tour

This excursion is an intensive full-day journey from Marrakech across the majestic High Atlas Mountains to the threshold of the Sahara Desert. You will travel over the famed Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) to reach Morocco’s cinematic heartland. The trip’s main focus is the stunning Kasbah Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most iconic fortified village (ksar) in Morocco, along with the nearby city of Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.

-Minimum of 2 people.
-Meals are not included in the price of the excursion.

PROGRAM OF THE DAY :

• 07:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Pick-up and Departure from Marrakech.

• 07:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (photo stop included).

• 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Guided Tour of Kasbah Aït Benhaddou (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

• 12:30 PM – 01:30 PM: Lunch Break near Aït Benhaddou or Ouarzazate (Lunch cost is typically excluded).

• 01:30 PM – 02:00 PM: Short drive to Ouarzazate (“Hollywood of Morocco”).

• 02:00 PM – 04:00 PM: Ouarzazate Exploration (Visit to Atlas Film Studios and/or Kasbah Taourirt).

• 04:00 PM: Departure for the long return journey to Marrakech.

• 07:00 PM – 07:30 PM: Arrival and drop-off back at your accommodation in Marrakech.
