• Atlas Studios: One of the world’s largest film studios by area. Visitors can take a guided tour to see sprawling sets and props from famous movies and TV shows like Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones.

• The Cinema Museum: Located across from the Kasbah Taourirt, this smaller museum displays costumes, equipment, and sets from past productions.

Architectural Treasures: Kasbahs and Ksars

The region is defined by its earthen architecture, built from the local clay and mud.

• Kasbah Taourirt: Located right in Ouarzazate, this is one of the largest and most impressive kasbahs in Morocco. Once belonging to the powerful Glaoui clan (Lords of the Atlas), its labyrinth of rooms and courtyards offers a glimpse into Morocco’s feudal past.
