Day 1: Arrival & The Traditional Cleansing Ritual

Day 2: Deep Relaxation and Aromatic Oils

What is the etiquette for clothing in the Hammam?
In the private Hammam experience offered on this tour, guests are typically provided with disposable underwear and a robe. Women usually go topless during the scrubbing portion. You are advised to only keep on your disposable underwear. The environment is professional, discreet, and segregated (or private for couples).
Will the exfoliation be too rough?
The kessa glove exfoliation is intentionally vigorous to remove dead skin cells effectively, which is the cornerstone of the Hammam ritual. However, your professional therapist will check your comfort level. You can simply say “Bshwiya” (pronounced B-sh-we-ya), which means “slowly” or “gently,” if you need them to ease up.
Are the spa products authentic and safe?
