3 days desert dreams

Day 1: Marrakech – M`hamid
This private vacation tour starts early in the morning as you and your driver depart by 4×4 from the hotel in Marrakech. Drive over the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi-n-Tichka pass with a visit to Ait Ben Haddou,Morocco’s most famous Kasbah. Lunch in Kasbah Tamnougalte. The trip goes through the valley of the Draa River with palm trees and old Kasbahs, partly off road. After Zagora, stop at Tamegroute to visit the famous Koranic library and underground Kasbah. The night will be either in a hotel or in a bivouac near M’hamid.

Day 2: M’hamid – Erg Chegaga

In the morning, depart by camel into the Sahara for about two hours of riding. Travel by 4×4 through a beautiful desert landscape to Sacred Oasis (holy oasis) for a lunch break. The Oasis Sacrée consists of a small group of palm trees around a water source in the desert. The nomads bring their herds here to cool off. In the afternoon, we will reach the sands of Chegaga, a large group of soaring dunes. Sleep in nomad tents at the dunes. Dinner with entertainment

Day 3: Erg Chegaga – Marrakech

After breakfast, depart by 4×4 on the old Paris – Dakar Rally road to Foum Zguid, crossing Lac Iriqui. Have a lunch break in Taznakht. Arrive in Marrakech by early evening.
